Biotin (Vitamin H | Coenzyme R | Vitamin B7) serves as a skin conditioning agent that improves keratin infrastructure. Deficiencies in biotin have been linked to hair loss, dandruff, and skin irritation. Biotin has been shown to help in proper fat distribution and absorption, helping the skin with healthy, glossy appearance.

Citrus Medica Limonum Peel Extract (Lemon) is an extract or oil derived from lemon that acts as a bacteriostatic agent with healing, antiseptic and skin lightening properties. It is useful as an astringent and aromatic.  

Folic Acid (Vitamin B9) is a form of vitamin B9 essential for cellular functions and cell renewal.  Folic acid has been shown to maintain healthy hair, nails and skin and aid in preventing hair loss. 

Glycine Soja Oil (Soybean) is an extract from soybean rich in essential fatty acids and unsaponifiables, making it an excellent moisturizer. It is an emollient oil rich in a-linolenic acid (aLNA) and acts as an ingredient carrier and skin conditioning agent.

Hyaluronic acid (i.e. sodium hyaluronate) is a powerful humectant that keeps the skin plump and hydrated. It is a naturally-occurring polysaccharide (i.e. carbohydrate) that can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. Even though hyaluronic acid is a relatively large molecule, this moisture-enriching provides long-lasting moisture because it penetrates the dead cell layer (i.e. stratum corneum) and permeates the skin. Increased hydration leads to improved elasticity and can also reverse free radical damage. Hyalronic acid can promote microcirculation and nutrient absorption all of which contribute to smoother skin and a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles. 

PEPTIDES:

Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16 (Eyelash Fortifying Peptide) is a synthetic peptide of myristic acid reacted with leucine, lysine, and serine. It has been shown to stimulate natural hair growth by antagonizing the inhibitory effects of BMP4 on hair follicle development and prevents hair depigmentation.

Myristoyl Hexapeptide-17 (Eyelash Fortifying Peptide) is a synthetic peptide of myristic acid reacted with alanine, leucine, lysine. It has been shown to stimulate natural hair growth by activating the keratin genes.

Octapeptide-2 (Hair Fullness Peptide) is a synthetic peptide containing glutamic acid, glutamine, leucine, lysine, and threonine. It has been shown to stimulate natural hair growth by antagonizing the inhibitory effects of BMP4 on hair follicle development and preventing hair depigmentation. It has also been show to reduce apoptosis activity (i.e. cell death) within the hair follicle, increase expression of collagen, elastin and fibronectin, and boost keratinocyte cell proliferation.
